When I’m creating prototypes, branding, graphics, content, or coding for Carsonified, I call it “work.”
When I do those things for myself, I still say “work.”
When I’m practicing and experimenting with new techniques—yep, still “work.” Sometimes reading technical books is “work.” Or writing blog posts is “work.”
I say “I’m working” a lot.
Folks will occasionally remind of this: “You’re always working!”
Well, yeah. I’m always building, learning, or sharing something I love. I’m a lucky ducky that way, I suppose.
